Firm History

Joel Johnson opened his office in October 1990 and has been practicing in the Hattiesburg area since January 1980. In 1999, he was joined by Jeffrey L. Hall to form Johnson & Hall PLLC. In October of 2000 Michael V. Ratliff joined the firm that is now Johnson, Hall & Ratliff. While the firm engages in general practice, there is an emphasis on bankruptcy, creditors rights, lender liability, commercial litigation, real estate and insurance law.
